Discretion

If you’re accepted into Monstrosity, that means we trust you enough to invite you to our larp and play with you. It also means you get to see a cast list of other participants… which means we trust your discretion.
Discretion is important to everyone involved in Monstrosity. If you participate, we ask you to trust that everyone involved will not discuss details of the larp that could cause harm, and we trust you to refrain from doing the same. What sort of details can cause harm?
Sharing the names of people who participate with anyone who hasn't played.
Discussing specific activities that occurred without the permission of the people involved.
Taking any photographs during the events.
That said, the concept behind this larp is that “you have to know someone” to get in. Once accepted, you are now “that someone.” So feel free to let people know about “this erotic horror vampire larp” called Monstrosity, and to talk about your personal experience. You can even post about it on social media, just don’t tag anyone without permission.
If you discuss Monstrosity on social media (in particular, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or TikTok), we have a specific request: for the privacy of people who have played, please don’t refer to this as a “sex larp.” The term we prefer is “erotic horror larp.” We’re working hard to make sure people know this is a larp where sexual activity may occur, and not a sex party, and using this term helps reinforce that.
